Higher Education Secretary Vineet Joshi stressed the importance of the Coordination Forum in strengthening institutional collaboration and cooperation among IIMs.
Key issues discussed during the meeting included aligning undergraduate entrance examinations with the country’s future needs, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for MBA admissions, policies for inter-IIM student migration and fee refunds, exposure opportunities for young faculty and new IIMs through secondment policies, and implementation of reservation rosters for faculty and non-faculty staff.
