First Global Sindhu Summit was held in Ahmedabad with objective of Strong Youth, Strong India
Organized by youth wing of Indian Sindhu Sabha, this grand summit was attended by Sindhi industrialists, businessmen and professionals from 10 countries

Ahmedabad, April 10, 2022 – The first Global Sindhu Summit 2022 was organized by Indian Sindhu Sabha, the largest organization of Sindhi community in India, with the objective of bringing youth of Sindhi community on one platform and making them financially empowered and self reliant. Grand event was held on Sunday, April 10 at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) at Bhat, Ahmedabad and was attended by Sindhi industrialists, businessmen and professionals from 10 countries. The Summit was attended by representatives and dignitaries of various government institutions including Shri Pradipsinh Parmar, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment of Gujarat and Shri Jagdishbhai Panchal, Minister of State for Cottage Industries and Co-operation.
The summit was inaugurated by RSS Pracharak and International Joint Coordinator of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) Shri Ravi Iyar and was the chief guest. He called upon the Sindhi youth to become economically self-reliant and play an active role in India’s development story and come forward to strengthen the social structure.
Commenting on success of the program, Mr. Nikhil Methia, Coordinator, Global Sindhu Summit and Youth President, Indian Sindhu Sabha-Gujarat, said, With this summit we aim to achieve goals of socio-economic empowerment, value-based education, community welfare and global brotherhood. We have reaffirmed our commitment to strong nation building by bringing Sindhi leaders from home and abroad on one platform and encouraged by them. “
Shri Pradipsinh Parmar, Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment of Gujarat, who was present during the program, appreciated leading role of Sindhi community in progress of Gujarat. He reiterated that this was an excellent and strong platform for Sindhi youth to become self reliant. Shri Jagdish Panchal, Minister of State for Cottage Industries and Co-operation of Gujarat also wished Sindhi community and hoped that more and more Sindhi youth would contribute to building of strong Gujarat by achieving socio-economic development.
Leading Sindhi industrialists, businessmen and professionals of the country encouraged the Sindhi youth in this summit. The summit was attended by about 600 delegates from India and abroad and was visited by 15,000 people.
In the one-day global summit hosted business conferences, exhibitions, folk festivals and food festivals. Mr. Nikhil Chandwani (Influencer), Mr. Raj Rahora (Social Media Expert), Simran Dhameja (E-Commerce Expert), Mr. Umesh Uttamchandani (Founder, Dev Accelerator), Mr. Deepak Mulchandani (AGM, Sidbi) Entrepreneur, Founder-CEO, Gem Partners), Mr. Mukesh Samatani (Senior Assistant Director, EEPC India), Mr. Anil Bhambhani (Chartered Accountant and Wealth Management Expert) and Mr. Ram Kundanani (UK based Management and IT Consultant) , Gave detailed lectures on topics like startups, investment, import-export and conducted quizzes with the youth.
In the session held as part of business conference, Sindhi businessmen and leaders also shared secrets of their success with youth. Mr. Rajesh Vaswani (Founder, Venus Group of Companies), Mr. Madan Dodeja (Founder and CEO, Vashi Integrated Solutions), Mr. Suresh Nihalani (Director, The Indus Resettlement Corporation Ltd.), IPS Mr. Sandeep Rupela (ACP, New Delhi) Leaders like Prem Lalwani (Founder, Shri Ganesh Corporation) and Shri Haresh Karamchandani (Managing Director and CEO, Hyphen Foods) encouraged youth by giving interesting presentations on how they achieved success through their struggle, strong morale, hard work and leadership.
The Global Sindhu Summit also hosted an Indus Business Exhibition in which about 80 businessmen-traders presented their businesses. Through this exhibition, Sindhi youth got to know new areas and opportunities of business. The summit proved to be the best platform for him to start his own business with less capital and to get business guidance from experts in various fields. The summit saw an understanding and outline of why Sindhis are known as the best businessmen in the world, what precautions should be taken for success in business, how to accept failure and how Sindhis will help other Sindhis for overall growth and success.
As part of the program, Sindhi Folk Festival was also held to showcase granduer of Sindhi language and culture in which a glimpse of the oldest Sindhu culture of the country was seen.
