In a welcoming gesture for Canadians, as per High Commissioner of Canada to India, Nadir Patel is taking initiative in bringing back Canadians stranded in India due to nationwide 21 days lockdown in India since 24th March owing to Coronavirus pandemic.
High Commissioner Patel through his Tweeter handle has notified about arrangements of Six flights from Metro / major cities of India including Bangalore, Mumbai and Amritsar to Canada.

A sixth special flight left this morning from #Amritsar and is on its way to #Canada bringing stranded #Canadians home. Two more flights from #Amritsar to Canada will take place in the coming days, and we continue to explore further options for those wanting to return home.
