The Gujarat Isolated Fields Natural Gas Consumer Industries
Association (GIFNGCIA) appreciates the central government’s move to
revise the Pricing guidelines of Natural Gas Produced from Small
Isolated Fields effective from April 1, 2015. With this move, once
again enabled existing units renew the gas contracts and use the gas
from such fields as they used to do prior to the revision in the
guidelines made in December, 2014. The association feels that this
move is not only in the interest of MSME sector, which is the second largest
sector for rural development, but will also help the sector to
contribute towards PM Namerandra Modi’s “Making in India” mission emphasizing indigestion a success.
Recently a Press Meet was held in Ahmedabad where stake holders and members participated in the event.
