Gondal: Pregnant Lady died due to accident on long pending under repair road at Umwada road
In Rajkot at Gondal nagar palika, a Pregnant Lady died due to poor road condition in Umwada road area.
On Saturday the lady died after pregnancy in Valmikiwas and could not get timely medical help. Lady had fallen down on the road under repair. She was taken to Civil hospital where lady delivered a baby boy and expired.
Valmikiwas is populated by Valmiki community who are mainly indulged sweeping work.
Multiple times issue about poor road condition and accident cases were brought to the notice of authorities.
Dead body of the lady was taken to Palika office and protest was made.
Localites have warned to initiate the long pending task of road repair in Umwada area or else they will go hunger strike.
local councillor visited the site ans assured of immediate repair of road.
