Gandhinagar: Election Commission of India ECI has selected 35 IAS and IPS officers from Gujarat cadre for the duties of election Observers in five assembly constituencies. Now 35 officers from Gujarat will work as Observers during elections. List of assembly constituencies assigned to all IAS and IPS officers has not yet been received, for which they will be Observers.
Names of IAS officers who are in the post of Election Observer are Rajesh Manju, SK Modi, P Swaroop, KN Shah, DD Jadeja, Dilip Rana, Ratan Kaur Gadhvichaaran, Vishal Gupta, Prabhav Joshi, Shahmina Hussain, Dhananjay Dwivedi, M. Thennarasan, Rahul Gupta, Ajay Prakash, K Rajesh, Praveen Chaudhary, DN Modi, DH Shah, Ashish Kumar, Ashwini Kumar, Mohammad Shahid, Alok Pandey, S Murli Krishna, Kiran Zaveri, RK Mehta.
These IAS officers will now be assigned as Election Observers for different assembly constituencies. When it comes to IPS officers, Khurshid Ahmed, Prafulla Roshan, Anil Pratham, Amit Vishwakarma, Ajay Chaudhary, V Zameer, Archana Shivhare, TS Bisht, RB Brahmbhatt, Raju Bhargav. This includes officials being assigned responsibilities at every election. For more than one month from now, 35 officers of Gujarat will be on duty in the states where elections are taking place.
