Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022 Voting LIVE: 28 percent voting till 11 am, clashes between BJP and AAP workers in Palitana Gujarat Assembly Election Voting Live : Voting is going on for 89 seats of 19 districts of South Gujarat including Saurashtra – Kutch in first phase of elections in Gujarat today.

High turnout in Dang, Tapi, Narmada districts. 12 percent turnout in Valsad’s Kaprada seat. Low turnout in Porbandar, Dwarka districts. 19.57 percent polling was recorded till 11 am for the five constituencies of Valsad district. in which Dharampur – 20.71 percent, Kaprada – 26.42 percent ,Pardi – 18.02 percent,Umargam – 18.47 percent, Valsad – 14.27 percent

As per Office of Chief Returning Officer, Gandhinagar During three hours of voting, out of 26,269 units, 33 ballot units i.e. 0.1% ballot units were replaced. Out of 25,430 control units, 29 control units i.e. 0.1% control units were replaced. Out of 25,430 VVPATs, 69 VVPATs i.e. 0.3 percent VVPATs were replaced. In Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022, first phase of voting is being held in 89 assembly constituencies in 19 districts. Voting process is going on peacefully in 25,430 polling stations .The process of voting through EVMs is going on in 19 districts. 26,269 B.U.(Ballet Unit), 25,430 C.U. (Control Unit) and 25,430 VVPATs are operational. Mock polls are held 90 minutes before the polling to check the EVMs. During the mock poll, 140 ballot units, 372 control units and 332 VVPATs were replaced. 33 ballot units, 29 control units and 69 VVPATs have been replaced in 19 districts during the three hours since polling started at 8:00 am to 11:00 am. 0.1% of ballot units are replaced during three hours. 0.1% control units have been replaced and 0.3% VVPATs have been replaced.

Reserve machine sets are available in all districts with the Zonal Officer in-charge of that area. Wherever a small or big problem occurs, arrangements have been made to replace the EVM’s ballot unit, control unit or VVPAT unit in no time at all.
