Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel Admits 209 Students to Sanand Model School During Shala Praveshotsav 2026

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Friday admitted a total of 209 students of Classes 9 and 11 to the Model School in Sanand, Ahmedabad district, as part of the 24th Shala Praveshotsav and Kanya Kelavani Mahotsav 2026. The initiative is aimed at strengthening school education across the state and achieving 100% student enrolment.

The admission ceremony was held on the third day of the statewide enrolment drive, which focuses on encouraging children to pursue education while reducing school dropout rates. The campaign also emphasizes the importance of girls’ education and equal access to quality learning opportunities.

During the event, the Chief Minister felicitated meritorious students for their outstanding academic performance. He also honoured the school’s principal and the institution for achieving a 100% examination result, recognizing their commitment to academic excellence.

In addition, a generous donor who made significant contributions towards the development of the school and the education sector was felicitated for supporting educational initiatives.

The Shala Praveshotsav and Kanya Kelavani Mahotsav is one of Gujarat’s flagship education campaigns, bringing together government officials, educators, community leaders, and citizens to promote universal school enrolment and improve the overall quality of education in the state.

The state government reiterated its commitment to creating a strong educational ecosystem by expanding access to quality education, encouraging community participation, and ensuring that every child receives the opportunity to learn and succeed.
