Gujarat CM, Dy CM checks readiness of Statue of Unity project
Today Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani along with Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel visited the site of Statue of Unity to take stock of the project and witness the readiness.
At the site near Kevadiya Colony, civil engineers, architects and concerned officers with ministers checked readiness to unveil the statue of Sardar Patel.

The project was commissioned 3 years ago on 31 October 2014 to build a 182 metres (597 ft) high statue of Sardar Patel.
The ‘Statue of Unity’ is the world’s largest statue dedicated to the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, will be inaugurated on October 31 this year.
The statue is almost completed and it will be inaugurated on 31 October 2018 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
