Today Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel performed ground breaking of Ahmedabad Metro Rail project’s North – South elicated corridor (line-2) on Sunday, January 17th near Jivraj Park cross roads on 132 ft ring road at Vejalpur, Ahmedabad (west). Also present on the occasion were minister Saurabh Patel, Nitin Patel, Pradipsinh Jadeja and other office bearers.
It should be mentioned that at present the Metro project ground work of erecting pillars is going on at Vastral village– Apparel Park Depot stretch in east Ahmedabad.
It is learnt that in western part of the city, the works will kick off on APMC (Vishala hotel) – Jivraj Park – Rajiv Nagar – Shreyas crossing – Paldi stretch.
