On December 15, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani performed Ground breaking ceremony of new Gujarat Assembly building, Vithalbhai Patel Bhavan in Gandhinagar. Renovation of Gujarat Assembly building to start from today. The state administrative has sanctioned Rs.120.97 crores for its renovation.
Present Assembly has a capacity to accommodate 182 MLAs whereas new Assembly building will be able to accommodate upto 220 MLAs.
Seating Capacity of Gujarat Assembly would be enhanced with a modern look to the Assembly House.
