A major reshuffle has taken place in the Gujarat Forest Department. A.P. Singh has been transferred, and Jaipal Singh has been assigned the additional charge of Head of Forests.
Transfer orders have also been issued for other senior officers working in the Secretariat. Deputy Secretary Asav Gardhvi of the Forest Department has been transferred to Bhavnagar and posted in a side role as Deputy Controller, Civil Defence. Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary Himanshu Gohil has been moved out of the Forest Department and given a new responsibility as Deputy Secretary in the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
