Today Gujarat government has made a welcoming amendment in the prevailing laws about School Admission to kids in Nursery and KG Kindergarten. The amendment comes owing to a PIL Public Interest Litigation. As per the amendment, any school found admitting children under 3 years of age will be first time penalized with a penalty of Rs 1 lakh, second time will be penalized with Rs 5 lakhs and third time will qualify to get approval cancelled of the school.
