In Gandhinagar, chief principal secretary to the Gujarat chief minister Kuniyil Kailashnathan has again been re-appointed. Sources said Kailashnathan is likely to serve in the CMO till Gujarat assembly elections in 2017. He is 1979 batch IAS officer has already served in this capacity after retirement, under two successive chief ministers – former CMs Narendra Modi and Anandiben Patel.
His appointment to the same post was cleared by chief minister Vijay Rupani on Thursday evening though a formal order in this regard will be issued in a day or two.
