In the Event of rain water filled in pothole has become common in most cities. Gujarat High Court , Ahmedabad has taken this issue very seriously and made a remark on PIL . HC said if water is cleared by keeping lid of gutter open and is someone dies by falling open gutter Palika Chairman can compelled to pay Rs 50 lakhs compensation for it.
In Morbi there is no proper drainage system from Sardarabag to Patel Girls’ hostel for disposal of rain water . Plea in HC is for Rs 25 lakhs compensation in case of death by falling in gutter and Rs 10 lakhs in case of serious injury.
