The Gujarat High Court received a bomb threat today, through email. The anonymous message warned that an IED blast would occur later in the evening. The threat was sent around 11:45 am to the court’s official email. Post-lunch all hearings were suspended immediately, and lawyers and staff were asked to leave the premises.Security forces responded immediately the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, along with dog squads, thoroughly searched all court buildings, parking areas, vehicles, and chambers.

No suspicious items or explosives were found during inspections by security agencies. Gates remain under heightened surveillance and additional security team has been deployed. The Cyber Cell is conducting an investigation to trace the email’s sender. Authorities are treating this as a hoax threat, pending further verification.
