Today formal announcement of new team franchise in the IPL 2016, Indian Premier League named Gujarat Lions. The franchise will be play in the ninth edition of the tournament. Indian Lefthander batsman Suresh Raina will lead Gujarat Lions and Brad Hodge, ex Australian cricketer will be coach of the team. Rajkot team, one of the two new franchises in the IPL  will be called the Gujarat Lions.
