Today in Gujarat during second phase of polls for localbody, average 55% voting has been reported till 5 pm. In second phase polls in Gujarat were held for 56 municipalities, 31 district and 230 taluka panchayats which began at 8am this morning amid tight security with the deployment of over 75000 security personnel including 47 companies of central para military forces.
A few cases, of bogus voting and tussle between partymen were reported during voting. In general, voting in Gujarat remained peaceful.
