Gujarat State Squash Championship 2026 crowns 11 state champions

SRFI-sanctioned tournament showcases Gujarat’s emerging talent across junior, senior and master’s categories

Ahmedabad, 06 August, 2026: As the Chiripal Gujarat State Squash Championship 2026 concluded recently, 11 champions were crowned across junior, senior and master’s categories. The championship was organised by the All Gujarat Squash Rackets Association (AGSRA) under the Chiripal Squash Excellence Programme from 1stAugust 2026  to 3rd August 2026 and sanctioned by the Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI).

Ahaan Bhatt (Boys Under-11), Sayesha Modi (Girls Under-11), Bhavyarajsinh Jadeja (Boys Under-13), Miraya Patel (Girls Under-13), Kiaan Kanade (Boys Under-15), Hetansh Kalaria (Boys Under-17), Manya Savalia (Girls Under-17), Amit Singhvi (Men’s 35+), Dhritih Kandpal (Women’s), Viraj Shah (Men’s 45+) and Vedant Patel (Men’s Open) emerged as champions in their respective categories.

Mr. Ronak Chiripal, Promoter, Chiripal Group, said, “The Chiripal Gujarat State Squash Championship is much more than a tournament—it is a reflection of the growing momentum of squash in our state. Every championship inspires the next generation of players and strengthens the pathway from grassroots participation to national excellence. We congratulate all the winners and participants and remain committed to working with the squash community to create greater opportunities for athletes to realise their potential,” Mr. Ronak Chiripal further went on to say.

Over the past year, Chiripal Squash Excellence has worked with AGSRA, clubs, coaches and the wider squash community to strengthen the sport through its 4C Framework – Coaches, Clinics, Competitions and Champions and is committed to build a sustainable squash ecosystem in Gujarat & beyond.

Shri Bhanu Pratap Singh Wala, Secretary, All Gujarat Squash Rackets Association (AGSRA), said, “The standard of squash in Gujarat continues to improve, especially at the junior level. Our focus is to create more opportunities through structured competitions, coach development and strong partnerships. Together with such initiativeswe are preparing more athletes to represent Gujarat and India at the highest level.”

Squash will make its Olympic debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Games. Gujarat continues to expand opportunities for aspiring players through regular competitions, quality coaching and high-performance development.
