Today Gujarat Tourism Policy backed by Gujarat Government made an important announcement in Tourism Friendly Holistic Approach that Heritage Hotels Can Be re-opened In Historic Buildings, Palaces, Jarukha prior to January 1, 1950,
Assistance of Rs 5 to 10 Crores for Renovation of Heritage Hotels, assistance to start Heritage hotel from Rs 45 lakhs to 1 crore will provided by state government . The assistance at 7 percent interest rate for 5 years with a maximum subsidy of Rs 30 lakh per annum would be provided by Gujarat government.
