Habitual of Writing on Currency Notes ? Kindly change it from January 1, 2016

Have we seen dollor, pound or any other popular foreign currency written with any meassge or number or with any symbol, then why only Indian Currency notes are found with numbers written by hand, some short mesagges and symbols, slogan etc on them. Do we conclude that we donot respect our own currency?

Anyway, discussion apart, as per sources, if anyone who has habit of writing on currency notes, will have to change their habit since such Indian currency notes will not be accepted by any bank from January 1, 2016.  Writing on currency notes leads to Rs 2638 crores loss every year to Indian government. Have we found written notes from ATM machines? such notes have be discontinued and new notes in its place have to put in circulation to maintain economical balance. This process every year cost expense of Rs 2638 crores to Indian Government which can be very well prevented.
