Amreli, June 5: In a proud moment for India’s agriculture and cooperative movement, IFFCO Chairman and senior cooperative leader Dilip Sanghani has been conferred the prestigious “NAAS Industriat Award” by the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) in recognition of his outstanding contribution to agricultural development, farmer welfare, and strengthening the cooperative sector.
The award was presented during the Foundation Day and Annual General Meeting of NAAS held on June 5. As Sanghani is currently on an official visit to the United States, the award was received on his behalf by Jayantibhai Pansuriya, President of the Amreli District Cooperative Purchase and Sales Union.
The recognition has sparked celebrations across Amreli district, which is widely regarded as a leader in Gujarat’s cooperative sector.
