Ahmedabad, 18 August 2026: Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) will organise Pune Machine Tool Expo (PMTX) 2026, co-located with Factory Equipment Expo (FACTEQ) 2026 from 7 to 10 September 2026 at the Pune International Exhibition & Convention Centre (PIECC), Moshi, Pune. The announcement was made at a press conference held today in Ahmedabad.

PMTX is a premier B2B exhibition that showcases advanced machine tools, manufacturing technologies, factory automation, and precision engineering solutions. FACTEQ is an exclusive exhibition on factory equipment focusing on products and solutions to meet the requirements of new factories and those that necessitate upgrading existing facilities.
Over 175 exhibitors will display machine tools, metal cutting, metal forming, tooling, automation, robotics, metrology, and digital manufacturing technologies. Factory equipment, material handling, industrial infrastructure, energy-efficient systems, and smart factory solutions will also be showcased.
Business visitors from various industry segments such as automotive, aerospace, general and heavy engineering, capital goods, and many other sectors are expected to visit.
Pune is one of India’s most important manufacturing and engineering centres. The expo is designed to provide the machinetool and manufacturingindustry with a platform to evaluate solutions, interact with experts, and experience machines and factory systems LIVE.
The expo will help visitors to get acquainted with the production technologies and factory infrastructure solutions.
According to Mr. Jibak Dasgupta, Director General & CEO – IMTMA, “Manufacturers today want to see technology performs providing end-to-end solutions, not just machines. Live machine demonstrations, service propositions, and direct engagement with technology providers will enable faster and more informed investment decisions.”
Western India, including Gujarat’s strong manufacturing ecosystem will continue to be a healthy contributor to India’s engineering output. Overall, IMTMA expects good participation from OEMs, component manufacturers, MSMEs, and factory managers who are actively exploring automation, quality enhancement, and cost optimisation. The expo also creates opportunities for business networking, supplier discovery, technology partnerships, and industrial collaboration.
Trade visitors can register online, and entry to the exhibition will be free for registered industry professionals.
