When Nepal faces a crisis, India stands ready as a neighbour and a friend
Following the devastating flash floods in Nepal, the Indian Air Force has launched a swift humanitarian assistance mission. A C-130J aircraft has already delivered 10 tonnes of essential relief items and vital medical supplies to support affected communities.


More assistance is on the way, with C-17 and C-130 aircraft set to transport additional relief materials. Helicopters are also being prepared for rescue and evacuation operations in areas where people may be stranded or difficult to reach.

Through this rapid response, India is extending a helping hand to Nepal—bringing critical assistance, supporting rescue efforts and standing with its neighbour during this difficult time.
