While battinng first India posted 321 runs at loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs with some brilliant opening partnership from Rohit Sharma ( 78 off 79 balls) and Shikhar Dhawan (125 off 128 balls), consolidated by superb 63 by Dhoni in 52 deliveries. Kedav Jadhav made 25 runs.
As far as bowling attack from Sri Lanka is concerned Malinga clinched 2 wickets and Lakmal, Pradeep , Parera, Gunaratne got 1 each wicket. Gunathilaka did not get wicket.
In chaising the target Sri Lanka were 141/1 in 24.1 overs with Gunathilaka batting on 68 and Mendis on 53.
