As India and Pakistan announced they would cease firing and shelling at the borders as part of an understanding reached on Saturday, ISRO Indian Space Research Organisation Chairman V Narayanan told that 10 satellites were continuously working to ensure the safety and security of the country.
Addressing the 5th convocation ceremony of the Central Agricultural University (CAU) in Imphal, he said: “At least 10 satellites are continuously working round-the-clock for the strategic purpose to ensure the safety and security of the citizens of the country.”
