Today in Surat, incident of molesting sleeping Jain nun by unknown miscreant in Gopipura Jain Upashray has come to light.
Around 12 o’clock in night, the incident took place when unknown person did mischief with sleeping Jain nun in Upashray. In the night miscreant jumped the wall and entered the upashray and started pulling clothes of nun, at that nun was suddenly awake. When she started shouted he ran away by jumping the wall.
Nun stay their for Chaturmas ceremony.
Athwa lines police reached the spot and started further investigation. Jain community is angry over the incident.
Jain people including trustees stand outside the Upashray and condemn the incident.
As per Jain trustee, similar incidents by miscreants have happened. even PI Police Inspector Bharwad resfused to file FIR and orally took our complaint.
after 4 years old incident, disturbed Areas Act was enforced after lot of protest said one of the Jain representative.
