Junagadh city has come forward in an attempt to control crime, as an initiative of Junagadh police, they have launched one new experiment by giving mobile number which directly sends information on all illegal activities using WhatsApp to chief of police. Crime in Junagadh is on rise, to curb that police has taken an initiative with a support from people.
In addition to ‘100’ number for Police Control one more mobile number 95122111000 has been launched. On this mobile number information about traffic, liquor, gambling illegal mining or any such thing with photo or message can be sent n which police station incharge will take immediate action. Also complainent will be updated on action taken by police and his name will be kept confidential. Till now 6 complaints of traffic jam and illegal parking have been received.
