Gir Somnath: LCB police arrest 55 gamblers gambling at a resort in Gir. On Sunday in LCB Local Crime Branch raid at a resort near Sangodar village under Talala police station limit exposed an illegal gambling den. It was found that the resort manager was facilitating gambling to gamblers. As per LCB source, 55 individuals were arrested in the raid and seized Rs 28.54 lakh in cash,15 luxurious cars, and 70 mobiles. Valuable of confiscated items amounted to Rs 2.34 crores. Investigations further revealed that the resort manager had criminal background. Police seized liquor bottles from the site, leading to further charges under the Prohibition Act.
