Maharashtra state again took the lead in Foreign Investments. During the period from January to August 2015 the Foreign Investments in the State has crossed Rs.55,307 crores and this will create nearly 1,24,000 employments. The major investing countries are Taiwan, USA, Germany, China and Switzerland. Taiwan alone invested Rs. 35,000 crores during this period. MIC, New Delhi.
