Today morning at 11:56 strong earthquake of magnitude 7.7 struck in North India including states like Sikkim , Delhi-NCR, Bihar, Chhatisgadh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pardesh , Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. Incidents of house destruction were reported from Nepal. Tremors lasted for 2 minutes. Intensity of todays tremors was higher.
As per experts this was the strongest quake of the decade.
Mobile services around Nepal were affected due to quake.
Metro train in Delhi was stopped due to tremors in North India. Even, Metro service in Kolkata was affected.
People in Ahmedabad ran out of buildings under panic. They were reminded of horryfying quake of Gujarat of 2001.
Epicenter was reported to be in Pokhara,Nepal.
