Ahmedabad Police during combing night of June 3 arrested Mohammad Irfan alias Bala son of Babubhai Shakir resident of Rahinagar, Narol with 49 crude bombs. Accused was given on 10 days Police Remand. During strong investigation name of mastermind Ajaz Ahmed alias Sameer alias Anno alias Altaf alias Mohammad Hanif, resident of Mayna Otla, Dariapur and Ambar Tower, Sarkhej. Mohammad Hanif was arrested by Dy Police Commissioner Dipen Bhadan, Jt Police Commissioner M D Chaudhary, PI S L Chaudhary. It was learnt that Ajaz Ahmed was planning to silently flee to Mumbai from Maninagar Railway Station, a trap was set up at Maninagar and Ajaz was arrested. On investigating Ajaz it came out that to trap him for Rs 3 lakhs borrowed from Zakir and Jahangir, he was involved in crude bombs made of explosives and sharp things and kept at Pyarali’s house and given to his aide Irfan.
