In Ahmedabad city, Metro train service launched between Vastral and Apparel Park station from today in phase 1 at 11 hours from Vastral to Apparel Park. The service resumed after a gap of 5 months. It was discontinued on 23rd March with start of first lockdown in Ahmedabad.
The Mtero train service was started after necessary precautions by AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation due to Covid-19 pandemic and public safety. All commuters are scanned prior to their journey and compelled to use hand sanitizers, to maintain a distance of 3 feet in the train as Covid-19 norms.
All Security staff sanitized train completely by wearing PPE kit and taking necessary precaution as per Covid-19 guidelines.
