Ahmedabad, 24 July 2026: Narayan Seva Sansthan, a leading NGO dedicated to empowering persons with disabilities, in collaboration with its CSR partner Ingersoll Rand, will be organizing the Narayan Artificial Limb Measurement Camp on 26 July 2026 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The camp will facilitate screening and selection of eligible beneficiaries for free corrective surgeries, while also conducting measurements for Japanese and German technology-based3D-Printed Narayan Modular Artificial Limbs, designed to restore mobility and improve quality of life.
Sharing his thoughts on the upcoming camp,Bhagwan Prasad Gaur, Head of Media and Public Relations, Narayan Seva Sansthan, stated that the organization’s primary objective is to restore dignity and self-reliance to persons with disabilities who have lost their hands or legs due to accidents, illness, or other reasons. Inspired by Padma Shri awardee founder Kailash “Manav”, the institution has been serving humanity continuously for the past four decades.
He further explained that the camp has been organized to ensure that persons with disabilities from Ahmedabad and nearby regions can benefit from free disability corrective surgery selection and Narayan Limb measurement services.

During the press conference, Bhagwan Prasad Gaur (Head of Public Relations, NSS) and Kailash Choudhary (Ashram In-charge, NSS Ahmedabad)Officially unveiled the camp poster.
Beneficiaries whose measurements are taken will receive their customized modular artificial limbs free of cost at a follow-up camp approximately two months later. Additionally, eligible individuals requiring corrective surgeries will be selected for free operations, which will be performed at the institution’s state-of-the-art hospital in Udaipur.
Previously, the Sansthan has successfully organised Mega Free Disability Camps in cities including Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Agra, transforming the lives of thousands of persons with disabilities through free screenings, corrective surgery referrals, and advanced prosthetic solutions. Building on the success of these initiatives, the Sansthan is now bringing this transformative campaign to Ahmedabad, Gujarat in July, followed by Ballari, Karnataka, in August.
To date, the institution has provided more than 40,200 free artificial limbs to persons with disabilities across India and abroad and has delivered free medical treatment to over 454,081 persons with disabilities.
Recognised at the highest national level, NSS founder Kailash Manav Agarwal received the Padma Shri in 2008 from then President Pratibha Patil for his contributions to social service. Continuing this legacy, NSS President Prashant Agarwal was honoured with the National Award in 2023 by President Droupadi Murmu for advancing the empowerment of persons with disabilities. Over the years, the institution has provided free artificial limbs to more than 39,388 beneficiaries and free medical treatment to over 452,000 patients.
