Today in Ahmedabad, minister Nitin patel and Shanker Chaudhary inaugurated new complex of Gujarat Institute of Medical Health.
Minister speaking on the occasion expressed concern over mental state of people committing suicide and its analysis. Students commit suicide due to burden of education and go into depression. Recently, a boy committed suicide due to mistake of education board said minister. This type of people needs to be motivated.
Post inauguration an international level of conference was held in which discussions of mental illness and its ailments.
International Conference at mental hospital in Ahmedabad was held. With WHO, Canada’s financial support to Gujarat college will become NABS certified college. Ahmedabad’s mental hospital will be a link for mental illness. Canada government has chosen Gujarat college. There are plans for hospitals in other 10 cities including Vadodara, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Navsari and Godhra.
