On June 23, 2025, early Monday morning, the Sama campus of Navrachana Higher Secondary School in Vadodara got an email bomb threat—the second such warning in less than a year.The school immediately evacuated students, and police, bomb disposal squad, dog units, and cybercrime teams conducted a thorough sweep. No explosives or suspicious objects were found during the search operation.The first warning was sent in January 2025, making this the second bomb threat in under six months.
Following standard protocol, authorities evacuated children, informed parents to pick them up, and launched a meticulous search.Vadodara’s PI Police Inspector MV Rathod confirmed the bomb squad found no dangerous stuff and that investigations are ongoing.
Ahmedabad Cyber Crime has arrested a Chennai based accused who was sending bomb threats in different states by email. A press conference regarding this will be held by JCP Crime today on 23/6/2025 afternoon at Cyber Crime Bungalow.
