No hasty decision will be taken on re-opening of schools, said Gujarat education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama today to media. Minister gave indications of school not opening in near future considering aspects of students of health and protection. Parents are also running campaigns in many places to prevent schools from opening early for the safety of their children. State governments, on the other hand, plan to reopen schools that comply with all Social Distancing norms in Covid-19 pandemic. Union Ministry of Education has asked the states and Union Territories to take feedback from parents as to when to reopen schools. Ministry of Human Resource Development HRD’s School and Literary department has sought feedback from parents of school re-opening schedules and related aspects.
