Orange Alert in Gujarat; Heat Wave forecast in next 3 days

Gujarat heat wave has intensified In which amount of heat is increasing day by day. Heat wave in Ahmedabad has crossed 42 Degrees Celsius due to hot and dry winds from the south-west to west direction. Following heat wave, AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has issued an Orange Alert from Friday to Sunday. Meteorological Department has issued Yellow Alert in Gujarat on Friday and Saturday. According to Meteorological Department, maximum temperature in Ahmedabad rise by 3 degrees above normal to 42.2 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature reached 255 degrees Celsius due to hot and dry winds in the morning. Heat wave intensifies for next two to three days Degree or higher is likely to be recorded.


People are upset because of heat. In next two to three days heat wave intensify, heat wave is likely to reach 43 degrees or more. Meteorological Department has advised people to take precautionary measures to avoid Heat Stroke. Due to effect of hot winds in 7 cities of state including Ahmedabad, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Vadodara, Gandhinagar and Deesa, temperature was above 40 Degrees. In addition, people living below 40 degrees in all cities were relieved by the heat. During two days, Meteorological Department has issued Yellow Alert in some areas of North Gujarat including Banaskantha, Kutch and Surendranagar, Rajkot in Saurashtra. This time in the month of April, people have been disturbed due to heat felt in the month of May.
