Jashoben wife of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sought Information sought on her security cover given to her through an RTI from Mehsana police. Jashodaben as a spouse of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was provided with a security cover by Gujarat Police, as she was staying in Gujarat. Jashodaben was denied information under RTI by Mehsana Police on the ground that her queries were related to local intelligence bureau (LIB) which is exempted under RTI Act.
