Today Prime Minister Narendra modi reached Jamnagar to inaugurate the SAUNI irrigation project at AAJI-3 dam site.

The irrigation project was envisioned by Narendra Modi when he was CM of Gujarat. SAUNI is capable of filling 115 major dams of the Saurashtra region by diverting 1 MAFT floodwaters which overflows from the Sardar Sarovar Dam .

With launch of project which can fulfill thirst of 11 drought prone district of Saurashtra region.
