PM Narendra Modi launched 3 important projects in Kutch

Today , Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi during his short visit launched 3 important projects. PM virtually laid foundation stone through video conferencing for a Desalination Plant, Renewable Energy Park and fully-automated Milk Processing and Packaging Plant.
In an important milestone for sustainable and affordable water resource harvestingSeawater Desalination Plant has a processing capacity of 10-crore litre per day to come-up at Mandvi in Kutch. Mandvi desalination plant will offer 10 crore liter water supply daily to 8 lakh people across Mundra, Nakhatrana, Lakhpat, Abdasa in Kutch. With this,Narmada water being brought from distance, will be utilized for better supply to Rapar,Bhachau,Gandhidham and Anjar.


Also laid foundation stone for 30 GW Hybrid Renewable Energy Park in Kutch, to be spread over 72,600 hectares of land, that will be the largest renewable energy generation park in the world. Laid the foundation stone of a fully-automated Milk Processing and Packaging Plant of Sarhad Dairy in Anjar, Kutch with a processing capacity of 2 lakh litre of milk per day.


PM on farmers protest said Protesting farmers around Delhi are bring misguided by opposition. Farmers’ interests are in top priority of this government. The agri laws that passed were being demanded for years.
The agriculture reforms that have taken place are exactly what farmer bodies and even Opposition have been asking over the years. Government of India is always committed to farmer welfare & we will keep assuring the farmers and addressing their concerns. We have worked to reduce difficulty of farmers.
Demand for amendment of farm laws which are years old, the people who are in opposition were in support of these reforms but could not take decisions.
During his visit to Kutch, PM was accompanied by Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani , met and interacted with various local groups including Kutchi women active in handicraft activities as well as Sikh farmers who are settled in Kutch.
