PM Narendra Modi may miss Fifa World Cup final

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi would be attending summit of the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) countries scheduled during July, 15 to 17 July in the city of Fortaleza of Brazil. Fifa World Cup final is scheduled in Rio de Janeiro on 13 July. Due to closed dates of two events, the BRICS leaders were invited by Brazil to the football final.
PM Narendra Modi, who was invited by Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff to watch the World Cup football final next month, will not be attending the sporting event.  PM Narendra Modi presently has no plans was conveyed by ministry of external affairs,“I understand that there are no plans for the Prime Minister to be present at the football Fifa final.Rousseff had last week invited Modi to watch the Fifa World Cup final. Earlier this month, Modi had released commemorative postage stamps on the World Cup football.
