PM to Attend Tribal Pride Day Celebration at Dediapada
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on November 15 as part of the celebrations of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas (Tribal Pride Day). During his visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Dediapada, where he will participate in a grand program organized to mark the 150th birth anniversary of legendary tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda.
The state government has made extensive preparations for the event, which will highlight the rich cultural heritage, history, and contribution of tribal communities to India’s freedom struggle. A large public gathering is expected, where the Prime Minister will address the audience and pay tribute to Birsa Munda, who is considered a symbol of tribal identity, pride, and resistance against colonial rule.
The celebration aims to inspire the younger generation to learn about the remarkable sacrifices made by tribal leaders and to promote inclusive development for tribal regions.
