VIDEO OF CM ANANDIBEN DEDICATES DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS TO PEOPLE OF BHUJ
Today, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today distributed ‘Red Book’ containing property related documents to 4423 Gujarat earthquake affected families to resolve 13 years old documentation problems pending due to rehabilitation of the Bhuj city since 2001. Long pending issue was resolved in 4 months time after instructions issued by CM Anandiben.
While speaking on the occasion in Bhuj, CM said that its Gujarat Government’s positive administrative and pragmatic solutions towards citizens’ problems makes ‘Gatisheel Gujarat’ a success.Expression of happiness and satisfaction on faces citizens on getting pragmatic solutions to their problems is a real asset of Gujarat government.
Recalling her visits as then Education Minister of Gujarat to Bhuj during its reconstruction after it was hit by the devastating earthquake in 2001, Anandiben said that she had made several visits to interior parts of the Kutch region to resolve the problems pertaining to education and schooling of localites. She assured people of Kucth Bhuj that now their every problem would be resolved quickly. As a facilitation towards this, Gujarat government has initiated Lok Samvad Setu Program under which 80% solution of problems get solved locally and immediately. Remaining problems linked with policy decision would also be resolved swiftly as district administration has been given proper instructions about them, she added. She further said, government was determined to ensure that every poor family gets employment and shelter. The state government has constructed 300,000 houses and allocated to poor and middle class families. In an emotional tone, CM said it is essential that one needs a good shelter for taking good care of his family. One needs an employment, therefore, the state government has initiated proper measures in that direction. Gujarat government has chalked out a plan to provide an employment to youths to ensure a respectful life for them.
Chief Minister urged Industrial Houses settled of Kutch to fulfill their promise they had committed earlier. She also praised the local administration for promptly resolving local problems.
Anandiben Patel today laid foundation stone and dedicated to the people of several public welfare development projects.These projects included laying of foundation stone of Gadhshisha Police station at a cost of Rs 67.50 lakhs, inauguration of lignite mines at Umarsar, dedicated to the people of newly constructed Marine Police Station at Mandvi at a cost of Rs 55.08 lakhs, regional office constructed at a cost of Rs 345 lakh at Naliya, and Referral Hospital and Public Health Centre (Rs 356 lakhs) at Palasva in Rapar Taluka.
Other speakers included local MLA (Bhuj) Nimaben Acharya, Minister of State Tarachand Chheda and Kutch region’s in-Charge Minister Shankarbhai Chaudhary.
