Today in New Delhi, there was an election for the International President of VHP Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Two candidates Vishnu Prasad Sadashiv Kokaj former Judge of Highcout of Madhya Pradesh and ex Governor of Himachal Pradesh and Raghav Reddy. Kokaj got 132 votes whereas Reddy got 60 votes.

After 52 years, for the first time election of International President of VHP was held.

It appeared present VHP President Pravin Togadia was unhappy over the election.

On Jayanti Patel, supporter of Togadia also submitted his resignation.

Togadiasaid I worked for the organisation for 32 years on protection of rights of Hindus and against cow slaughter.

He will not form any group said Toagadia but he will be on fast from 17th April.

Togadia will submit his resignation at Ahmedabad Office tomorrow.
