After witnessing single handly formation of NDA government in Prime Ministership of Narendra Modi in the centre, foreign nations including US and UK have shown significant interest in bilateral talks and moves of close diplomatic relations with promotion of mutually benefical business association. US President Barack Obama’s formal invitation was communicated to PM Narendra Modi by Deputy Secretary of State William Burns when he called on him. Obama invited Modi to visit Washington in September and to work closely with him to make India-US relations a “defining partnership” for the 21st century, as per PMO sources.
Thanking Obama for the invitation, Modi ensures to a result-oriented visit in September more constructive dealing that will provide momentum and energy to the strategic partnership.
