Rahul Gandhi’s car attacked during visit to flood affected Banaskantha
Today afternoon, stone was thrown at the car in which Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi during his visit to flood affected Banaskantha.
Rahul Gandhi after the incident said stones wont stop us.
Rahul visited Dhanera APMC, Malotara and Barotvaas in Banaskantha. He took stock of the situation after devastation of flood. He tried to talk and meet flood hit people. He met family of Ravtabhai Prajapati.
When Rahul was return stone was thrown at his car from back side. In the incident one security guard of SPG was injured.
Gujarat Congress leaders Bharatsinh Solanki and Arjun Modhwadia has condemned the incident.
Even, black flags were shown at Rahul.
Ahmed Patel also criticised the incident of stone throwing on Rahul Gandhi.
Gujarat Dy CM Nitin Patel reacting on the situation said that as per protocol Rahul Gandhi was offered a bullet proof car, which he denied and opt to be in a private car arranged by his party. Top police official re-iterated the same statement. Complaint against 4 persons has been lodged.
Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani ahs tweeted and condemned the incident. He also added that if Rahul want to help people is good but he should not play politics on the incident.
Jitu Vaghani Gujarat BJP President reacting on the occasion said congress is doing politics in the incident.
