Rajkot: Old lady suicide case on Police investigation revealed as murder by son
Sandip Nathwani working as a Professor in government college and staying at Rameshwar Park in Darshan Avenue is arrested by police for killing his mother. Darshan Avenue is a four storey apartment.
Sandip’s mother Jayshriben, age 64 was bed ridden and unwell for past 3 -4 months. Jayshriben was treated in Sterling Hospital Ahmedabad for Brain Hemorrhage. Jayshriben was a retired government teacher.
Sandip firstly tried to establish to police that his mother died due to accidental death.
Actually, on 27 September 2017, Sandip carried his mother to terrace and pushed her from terrace and tried to declare the incident as suicide by his mother.
One person, had alerted Rajkot police expressing doubt of murder in the case.
Also, Rajkot police based on CCTV footage and presence of Sandip at accident site had arrested him.
It is said Sandip was tired of taking care of his mother and day to day quarrel of Jayshriben with his wife and took extreme step.
