Renowned Humorist Writer of Gujarat Vinod Bhatt passes away at 80

Today renowned Humorist writer of Gujarat Vinod Bhatt passes away at 80 after long sickness. At 5 pm dead body of Bhatt was donated.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani  and Gujarat BJP President Jitu Vaghani has paid tribute to the Humorist. Vacuum has been created in Gujarati  literature with demise of Vinod Bhatt said Rupani.

Bhatt was born on 14 January 1938 in Nandol. In 1964 he acquired degree of Law.  He also worked as a Tax Consultant in addition to his ability serve Humor. He is famous for his Column “Mag Nu Naam Mari”. He has worked for many leading newspaper.

Pehlu Sukh Te Mungi Naar, Aaj Ni Laat, Suno Bhai Saadho, Aankh Aada Kaan,Granth Ni Garbad Thi Thaya Janita  and Idam tritium are his famous books.

To his credit there are biography of poet Narmad, Swapna Darshta and HasyaMurti Jyotindra Dave.

In Hindi literature he has written Dekh Kabira Roya, Suna Ansuna and Baital Chhabisi.

In 1976 he received Kumar Chandrak , in 1989 he was awarded Ranjitram Ratnam and in 2016 was awarded with Ramanlal Nilkanth Puraskar.

From 1996 to 1997 he was president of Gujarat Sahitya Parishad.

He has served Gujarati community for more than 3 decades with his humor.
