Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera booked for assault by DN Nagar police

Today Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s bodyguard, Shera, was booked under IPC 326 by the DN Nagar police in a case of assault along with three others. No arrests have been made till now in the case.

The victim, Akhtar Qureshi, is a cellphone dealer. Around 2.30 AM, Qureshi and his 2 friends were travelling in an Audi when they noticed Shera near his car at Indian Oil Nagarm. Qureshi’s acquaintance, one Ajay, wanted to speak to Shera on phone. Qureshi gave the phone to Shera who had an argument with Ajay. After the phone call ended, Shera allegedly hit Qureshi with the butt of his pistol. Shera’s aides then allegedly attacked Qureshi with an iron rod. He has received an injury to his collar bone and has been hospitalised as per police. The police is trying to verify the authenticity of the incident and check from CCTV footage of the crime scene. Shera’s statement is recorded. He is very close to Salman Khan and is considered family by the actor, as per source.
